ConvertLab.cloud is a file converter built around one simple idea: your files belong to you.
Where do your files go?
Your files are sent via an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our own servers, hosted in France. They are converted in an isolated space, then automatically deleted as soon as the result is delivered to you. The files are not intended for advertising use. The technical data necessary for the service are detailed in the privacy policy.
How does it work?
Your file is transmitted encrypted to our conversion server. Depending on the format, it is processed by recognized professional engines · FFmpeg for audio and video, LibreOffice for office documents, ImageMagick for images, Pandoc and Calibre for texts and ebooks. The converted file is sent back to you, then the workspace is completely destroyed: under normal operation, cleanup is triggered after sending the response to the browser.
Free, really?
Yes. The free version covers the most common formats, without registration. Two limits to be aware of: 1 video conversion per day and 10 files per day, in order to preserve our servers' resources and keep the service free. Create or access my account. €2 per month, renewed automatically. Turn off renewal in your account before the next billing date. Advertisement
Advertising is meant to help fund the free version. It remains disabled in the version under preparation as long as its configuration and consent have not been validated. Your files are not used for advertising targeting.
